Job summary

Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, is seeking offensive security consultants to perform Red and Purple Team assessments across diverse environments. You will emulate threats using cutting-edge techniques, adapting to on-prem, cloud, zero-trust, and identity-centric architectures, and deliver realistic breach simulations.

Our consultants develop reports for technical and executive audiences, mentor staff, and help scope engagements from kickoff to remediation, advancing Mandiant's frontline incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of offensive security or red-teaming experience including network, web app, mobile, cloud, social engineering, scripting, or tool development.
• Certifications related to offensive security (OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CISSP, CISA or SANS courses).
• Experience creating security tools and knowledge of programming languages (Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim).

Responsibilities

• Perform Red and Purple Team assessments including end-to-end adversarial emulation of cyber attacks against customer environments.
• Expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation and threat actor intelligence research.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences, acting as trusted advisor to C-level and security leaders.
• Assist with scoping engagements and lead teams from kickoff through remediation, while mentoring staff.
