Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking an Incident Response Analyst to support cybersecurity operations, focusing on incident detection, analysis, containment, and continuous improvement of security processes within a structured security operations environment.

The role requires knowledge of SIEM, forensic techniques, and threat hunting, with experience in incident response and digital forensics. A Bachelor’s degree is required and a willingness to work in shifts for global coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience in information security, preferably with incident response or digital forensics.
• Understanding of incident response methodologies, forensic processes, and evidence handling practices.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, IDS, log analysis solutions, EDR, and packet capture tools.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common network services.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment or scanning tools.
• Willingness to work in shift-based schedule supporting global operations.
• Relevant certifications in information security are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 2 incident response support across a global environment as part of the information security function.
• Manage and resolve security tickets in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Investigate alerts and data from monitoring tools to assess scope and impact of threats.
• Evaluate and improve incident response processes and controls.
• Assist in forensic investigations and ensure proper evidence handling.
• Maintain security systems for performance, reliability, and capacity.
• Provide updates and metrics to security leadership.
• Support security awareness initiatives and training materials.
• Participate in special cybersecurity projects.
