Job summary

PM Consulting seeks a Senior Consultant for Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) to lead incident response and forensic investigations for diverse clients. You will work with cross-functional security teams to manage incidents, analyze threats, and deliver actionable insights.

The role demands strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and composure in high-pressure situations, with a hybrid work setup combining remote and onsite work.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in incident response, security operations, or cybersecurity consulting.
• Hands-on experience with digital forensics tools such as EnCase and FTK.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl, Ruby).
• Knowledge of threat analysis, malware basics, and incident remediation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks across cybersecurity and incident response engagements.
• Respond to security incidents, including containment, mitigation, and remediation activities.
• Conduct detailed forensic investigations and deliver high-quality technical analysis.
• Support incident management activities while maintaining professionalism in client-facing situations.
• Collaborate with internal security teams to identify, analyze, and document security events.
• Perform intelligence-led investigations to assess threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop clear, structured technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in improving internal processes, methodologies, and response procedures.
