Job summary

Al Abbar Aluminum Philippines, Inc. seeks an experienced Design Engineer to translate facade concepts into shop drawings, cutting lists and 3D models using Inventor.

You will develop standards, set up Vault and nesting workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet fabrication deadlines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience using Inventor and producing parts for manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the facade construction industry is an advantage.
• Highly proficient in using Inventor software and related technology.
• Knowledge of Vault, Inventor's nesting and illogic is a must.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Can communicate well in oral and written English.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Taking designs from Architectural/Structural(facade) concept to release shop and cutting list drawings for fabrication and installation of facade elements.
• Obtain all information related to project to produce a clear and accurate 3D models.
• Responsible for developing Inventor standards and set-up in line with AAB standards.
• Responsible for carrying out design and drafting works within the given program as required and needed for the project.
• Extend working hours as needed to comply with the required deadlines.
