Job summary

Al Abbar Aluminum Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Design Team Lead for curtain wall systems. You will coordinate a 4-6 member team, provide technical guidance, and lead design workshops to develop aluminum glass curtain wall concepts and shop drawings.

You will produce plans, elevations, sections, and setting out drawings that meet architectural and structural specs, support installation teams, and ensure timely delivery within project BOQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aluminum Glass Curtain Wall design.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a design environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Inventor knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor a 4-6 member design team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior members.
• Participate in design workshops for curtain wall solutions.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections and shop drawings.
• Ensure drawings meet architectural/structural requirements and BOQ.
• Draft concept design, shop drawings, MTO, Cutting List, and Settings Out drawings.
• Provide technical support to installation teams and ensure facade implementation.
