Job summary

foodpanda is seeking an Internal Control Senior Manager to strengthen the control framework across its entities. You will lead end-to-end control reviews with a fraud risk lens, identify gaps, and drive remediation actions with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor juniors, provide technical guidance, and partner with ERP stakeholders (SAP, Oracle) to standardize controls, foster accountability, and report findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accounting professional (CPA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA) is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Process Governance, or Risk Management with hands-on exposure to fraud detection.
• Experience leading complex reviews or cross-functional projects across multiple stakeholders.
• COSO framework knowledge and risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute the annual Internal Control testing plan across operational workflows and IT General Controls to identify gaps and non-compliance.
• Lead complex control reviews and cross-functional workstreams across multiple entities with proper scoping, risk assessment, documentation and timely completion.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, reviewing work and promoting best practices in control testing.
• Integrate a proactive fraud lens into control reviews to identify red flags, control gaps, and areas vulnerable to misconduct or misstatement.
• Lead ad-hoc investigations using data analytics to identify anomalies, leakage opportunities, and emerging control risks; design preventive controls and continuous monitoring.
• Analyze complex workflows to eliminate financial leakages and identify cost-saving and process efficiency initiatives.
• Advise operational teams on internal controls and anti-fraud practices to foster accountability and compliance.
• Partner with functional leaders to standardize key controls, align risk management standards, assign remediation owners and timelines, and track findings to closure.
• Prepare concise management reporting on key findings, risk areas, remediation progress, and financial impact for senior stakeholders.
