QBE Group Shared Services Centre in Manila or Cebu is seeking an Internal Controls Assurance professional to conduct control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment. You will assess operating effectiveness of controls, review supporting documentation, and challenge divisional accounting teams to remediate deficiencies.

The role reports to the Team Lead, Internal Controls Assurance with a dotted line to the Head of Group Finance Operation Risk & Assurance, and requires strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of risk and internal control concepts, especially in insurance and BPO contexts.
• Familiarity with internal auditing standards, governance frameworks and risk assessments.
• Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.
• Basic understanding of Philippines regulatory environment and compliance obligations.
• Industry experience in financial services and insurance is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Deliver work to quality standards aligned with assurance methodology and professional standards.
• Identify and propose improvements to the assurance testing programs.
• Use WDesk and related tools effectively on reviews and engagements.
• Manage resources, time, and budgets efficiently while complying with policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and respond to audit inquiries.
