Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a data-driven risk analytics professional for US non-life insurance data work in the Philippines. You will analyze CAT-related data, cleanse and validate inputs, and support underwriting and policy data workflows.

The role emphasizes strong Excel, BI tooling, and programming skills with familiarity in RMS/AIR/Verisk tools. A mathematics- or analytics-focused degree is preferred, with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in US Non-Life Insurance (Property, Commercial Insurance, Homeowners, etc.).
Experience in CAT Modeling, Exposure Management, Insurance Risk Analysis, Underwriting, or Insurance Data Analysis.
Strong understanding of US geography, including states, cities, ZIP codes, addresses, and property locations.
Knowledge of natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, and severe storms.
Experience handling insurance policy, property, coverage, and location data.
Experience with data cleansing, data validation, geocoding, and checking data accuracy.
Strong MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and INDEX-MATCH.
Experience with RMS, AIR/Touchstone, Verisk, or similar CAT modeling software is highly preferred.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or VBA is an advantage.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Engineering, Geography, Data Analytics, or a related field.
