Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain high-impact learning solutions that enable employees to perform effectively across multiple functions including HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product Management, Services, Sales, and Operations.

This role partners with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze performance needs and craft engaging experiences using ADDIE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five years of instructional design, learning and development, training, or related experience.
• Experience managing instructional design projects independently.
• Proficiency with adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, learning assessments, and evaluation practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply ADDIE methodology to deliver projects from intake through evaluation.
• Conduct learner and needs analyses to identify performance gaps.
• Develop measurable objectives and appropriate instructional methods.
• Design and develop learning solutions including eLearning, videos, ILT, VILT, assessments, job aids, and performance support resources.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
