Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Measurement Centre to deliver accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs across large-scale infrastructure projects. The role supports GCC business remotely, ensures consistent measurement processes, and mentors junior staff.

You will work with CESMM, NRM, POMI standards and QS software like CostX and Revit, contributing to process improvements and BIM-based measurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in quantity surveying or measurement roles.
• Proficient in 2D/3D take-offs and BOQ preparation.
• Experience with CESMM, NRM, POMI and related standards.
• Proficient in CostX, Revit or similar QS software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
• Develop BOQs in line with project requirements and CESMM standards.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
• Review drawings for cost risks and opportunities; support MES and QA processes.
• Mentor junior staff and improve measurement workflows.
• Lead measurement activities and support BIM-based measurement initiatives.
