Job summary

SearchApi is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to own and operate the entire cloud stack. You will build scalable systems powering billions of requests, enhance observability, and expand our infrastructure as we grow.

The role demands senior-level skills in AWS, Terraform, Docker, Linux, and networking. Fully remote with equity and profit sharing, you will join a bootstrapped, profitable team delivering real product to customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive production experience with AWS cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Solid Terraform and IaC fundamentals with automation mindset.
• Strong Linux systems and container orchestration expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own observability across the stack: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards.
• Architect and operate browser-cloud infra: containerized browsers, session isolation, crash recovery, autoscaling.
• Handle websocket connections, CDP tunnels, and TCP tuning for browser automation.
• Write and maintain Terraform for all infrastructure; everything is code.
• Tune autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Expand to new regions as growth continues.
• Experiment with Lambdas and serverless for specific workloads.
• Debug production issues: memory leaks, zombie processes, network failures.
• Build disaster recovery and incident response runbooks.
• Work with Linux systems, Dockerfiles, container orchestration daily.
