Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, monitor, and manage cloud infrastructure, supporting cloud transformation projects for clients.

The ideal candidate has hands-on AWS experience, strong scripting with Python, and proficiency in Linux and Windows environments. You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in technical roles, preferably in consulting, professional services, or cloud services.
• Hands-on experience designing or operating AWS-based solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization initiatives.
• Strong expertise in at least one of: infrastructure modernization, networking, security/compliance, or data management.
• Proficiency with scripting, preferably Python; familiarity with Linux/Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives involving legacy applications and infrastructure.
• Implement scripting and automation solutions to improve infrastructure management and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and other technical teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Support infrastructure improvements across areas such as networking, security, DevOps, data management, and application development.
• Work with internal stakeholders, management, and external vendors to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, operational processes, and cloud resource utilization.

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in technical roles, preferably within a consulting, professional services, or cloud services environment.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), preferably in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in at least one or two complementary technical areas, such as infrastructure modernization, networking, DevOps, security and compliance, application development, data management, analytics, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Working knowledge of scripting and automation tools, preferably Python.
• Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions and their business value to different stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
