Job summary

iQor in the Philippines is seeking a senior platform security engineer to lead platform engineering, configuration, and operational support across enterprise IT environments. You will drive integration of security tools, adopt advanced platforms, and help define standards and metrics for resilient systems.

The role requires mastery of Unix Bash scripting, experience with security technologies, and collaboration with clients and teams to automate and improve security processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in an enterprise IT environment.
• 3-5 years in monitoring, developing and implementing information security systems.
• Experience with IBM Datapower and IBM Verify Identity Access and MFA.
• Strong Unix Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
• Unix/Windows/VMware hands-on experience.
• Familiar with IP/Network/Cloud infrastructure components.
• Information Security Principles & Technologies.
• Disciplined in documentation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Platform engineering responsibilities for supported platforms.
• Configuration to enable value to the enterprise.
• Oversight of day-to-day operational support responsibilities.
• Integration of the technical tools with other platforms.
• Adoption of the technical tools deeper into the enterprise.
• Assisting in defining standards, guidelines, leading practices, metrics.
• Continuous validation of system and capabilities.
• Troubleshooting complex problems related to processes, infrastructure, & web security.
• Learn and implement new security products as needed.
• Develop pioneering approaches to emerging Information Security trends and automation.
