Job summary

World Health Organization in Manila, Philippines seeks an International Consultant to maintain and enhance the WPRO Health Data Platform, Data Explorer and related digital survey tools, delivering design, deployment, analysis, and dashboards during an 11-month contract.

The role requires full-stack web development, health information systems experience, and the ability to work under supervision of the Health Intelligence and Digital Health Unit to produce reusable reports and secure data

Qualifications

• Essential: Master's degree in information and technology, computer science, technology management, knowledge management or other related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in developing and managing information and database systems.
• Experience in full-stack web development (frontend and backend).
• Experience in online survey systems, dashboards and reporting tools, preferably in health information systems.
• Experience in WHO platforms and health data analytics is an advantage.
• Experience with DHIS2 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Regional Data Platform and Data Explorer, including security and dependency updates and backup procedures.
• Maintain country health intelligence platforms and the programme activity, output, budget and expenditure explorer.
• Build the Primary Health Care Maturity Index application and dashboards for country and regional use.
• Maintain AI-assisted analysis features across platforms and ensure governance controls.
• Maintain the online survey system (CLEAR+) and data collection tools, and develop additional custom reports and dashboards.
