Job summary

Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited in Manila is seeking a General Ledger Senior Accountant within Shared Services. You will maintain accurate journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure adherence to accounting policies.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in accounting (hospitality or large organizations), supervisory experience, CPA desired, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (hospitality industry / large organization / auditing).
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role; auditing and commercial experience preferable.
• Recognized accounting qualification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end close and reporting processes for internal management.
• Assist in producing accurate financial reports and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and government bodies to meet reporting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and distribute Departmental P&L analyses and variance explanations.
• Foster collaboration across departments to improve processes and cost efficiency.
