Job summary

Biopharma Careers is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accounting Specialist to own the Month-End Close process and ensure financial integrity for assigned entities. The role requires handling complex GL activities, accruals, payroll accounting, and sensitive journal entries within strict deadlines.

You will prepare and review high-quality financial statements, collaborate with auditors, and drive continuous process improvements, including automation, to shorten MEC cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 5–8 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting Operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and tax principles.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (Oracle, iScala, etc.).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Own complex GL activities (accruals, payroll/benefits accounting, sensitive journal entries).
• Lead Month-End Close (MEC) orchestration with strict deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and analyze high-quality financial statements and reports.
