Job summary

Global Technological Trading Inc. is seeking a General Ledger Officer to maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2–5 years of general ledger experience, and strong knowledge of ERP systems (Kingdee, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) and Excel. CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license is an advantage.
2–5 years of experience in General Ledger or Financial Accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficient in ERP systems (Kingdee, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts.
Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare bank reconciliations and cash balancing activities.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, and amortization schedules.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Prepare lapsing schedules and supporting schedules for audit requirements.
Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
Prepare aging reports for receivables and payables.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide supporting documentation during audits.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
