Job summary

Knauf is seeking a Senior General Accountant and Tax Officer in the Philippines to ensure accurate financial and tax records, support cost control and decision-making, and manage audits.

The role requires preparing reliable financial reports, tax filings, and maintaining documentation in line with local GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manufacturing experience is preferred and CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience; manufacturing exp preferred.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong accounting skills.
• Experience with SAP and Excel in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with local regulations and GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare statutory financial and tax reporting for local regulators.
• Support audits with required documentation and process improvements.
• Manage depreciation, asset capitalization and disposals; month-end close.
• Oversee tax filings, submissions, and regulatory compliance.
