Job summary

Knauf Gypsum Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior General Accountant and Tax Officer to oversee financial records, tax filings, and management reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and documentation for audits, with collaboration across finance teams and external auditors. The ideal candidate will have a CPA (preferably), a bachelor's in accounting, 4–5 years of experience, and familiarity with SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and related courses.
• Licensed CPA (preferably).
• At least 4-5 years relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience (preferably).
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• SAP background.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries ensuring compliance with local regulations and GAAP.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare statutory financial and tax reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Compute monthly depreciation, asset capitalization, disposals, and asset counts.
• Monitor costs, CAPEX, budgets, and tax reporting obligations.
• Perform general accounting duties as needed.
• Prepare tax returns with accurate documentation and timely submissions.
• Support process improvements and regulatory compliance.
