Job summary

Knauf Philippines is seeking a Senior General Accountant and Tax Officer to ensure accurate financial and tax records, reliable management reports, and compliance with audits and regulatory requirements. The role supports cost control and business decisions through detailed analysis and timely financial reporting.

The successful candidate will manage tax filings, cost monitoring, and month-end processes, while maintaining documentation and leading process improvements in a collaborative finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and related courses.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• At least 4-5 years relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Analytic, detail-oriented.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• SAP background.

Responsibilities

• Journal Entries Preparation.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Statutory Financial and Tax Reporting.
• Audit Support.
• Asset Management.
• Reporting and Analysis: monitoring costs, CAPEX, and budget vs. actual; Global Tax Reporting; DEG/Training center reporting; month-end reporting.
• General Accounting Tasks as required.
• Tax Return Preparation: various tax returns; accurate documentation and timely submissions.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight and Process Improvement.
