Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable Google Cloud Platform environments on a hybrid work model in the Philippines. The role focuses on secure landing zones, IaC with Terraform, and containerized/serverless workloads using GKE and Cloud Run.

Applicants should have 5–8 years in cloud or DevOps roles, experience with enterprise-scale migrations, and familiarity with governed environments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Exposure to regulated or highly governed enterprise environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure and application environments on Google Cloud Platform.
Implement secure cloud landing zones aligned with governance and security standards.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Git-based delivery practices.
Deploy and manage containerized and serverless workloads using Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run.
Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to Google Cloud.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient software delivery.
Design and maintain cloud networking architectures including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configurations.
Integrate Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub into platform solutions.
Apply cloud security best practices to protect infrastructure, applications, and data.
Provide operational support and continuous optimization of cloud environments.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to enable cloud adoption.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cloud architecture and automation.
