Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable Google Cloud Platform environments on a hybrid work model in the Philippines. The role focuses on secure landing zones, IaC with Terraform, and containerized/serverless workloads using GKE and Cloud Run.

Applicants should have 5–8 years in cloud or DevOps roles, experience with enterprise-scale migrations, and familiarity with governed environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Exposure to regulated or highly governed enterprise environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure and application environments on Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement secure cloud landing zones aligned with governance and security standards.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Git-based delivery practices.
• Deploy and manage containerized and serverless workloads using Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run.
• Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to Google Cloud.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient software delivery.
• Design and maintain cloud networking architectures including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configurations.
• Integrate Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub into platform solutions.
• Apply cloud security best practices to protect infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Provide operational support and continuous optimization of cloud environments.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to enable cloud adoption.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cloud architecture and automation.

Job Description:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure and application environments on Google Cloud Platform

• Implement secure cloud landing zones aligned with enterprise governance and security standards

• Deploy and manage containerized and serverless workloads using services such as Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run

• Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises or legacy environments to Google Cloud

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for a secure and efficient software and platform delivery

• Design and maintain cloud networking architectures including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configurations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives

  • Exposure to regulated or highly governed enterprise environments is preferred

• Certifications (Preferred):

  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer

• Technical Knowledge

  • Cloud & Platform Expertise

    • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform architecture and infrastructure design

    • Experience implementing secure landing zones and cloud governance frameworks

    • Proficiency in core GCP services including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub

  • Infrastructure & DevOps Engineering

    • Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform

    • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices

    • Familiarity with container orchestration and serverless computing environments

  • Networking & Security

    • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configurations Automation & Scripting

    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for infrastructure automation and tooling
