Job summary

Palecek Consulting Group seeks a Product Engineer based in Angeles City, Pampanga to convert design concepts into production-ready engineering solutions. You will manage drawings, bills of materials, prototypes, tests, and manufacturing resolutions, reporting to the Director of Product Engineering.

The role requires independent judgment, strong technical execution, and ownership of assigned products with risk identification and documented resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, furniture design, furniture technology, product engineering, or related field.
• Seven years of hands-on furniture product engineering or related experience.
• Ability to independently engineer complex furniture from concept through prototype, testing, and production.
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction involving wood, rattan, metal, upholstery, resin, composites, natural fibers, and mixed materials.
• Demonstrated ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Excellent English and Filipino communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate briefs into accurate 2D and 3D engineering deliverables.
• Prepare production packages with drawings, BOMs, materials, and packaging details.
• Define dimensions, tolerances, datum points, interfaces, and performance requirements for manufacturing.
• Verify alignment of drawings, specs, BOMs, samples, and system data before release.
• Maintain disciplined revision control and document approved technical changes.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during pilot runs and initial production.
• Travel within the Philippines and occasionally internationally.
