Job summary

Citco Group of Companies in Manila is seeking a skilled accounting professional to perform general accounting and bookkeeping in line with local and international requirements. You will prepare financial statements, substantiate expenditures, review transactions, and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and payroll where applicable.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting; CPA is an advantage; 2–4 years in accounting or external audit with an international

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• 2–4 years of accounting/external audit experience with an international organization or service provider.
• Knowledge of IFRS, HKFRS or Singapore FRS.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Deliver quality work within strict timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping according to local, international and industry specific accounting requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and other required reports for statutory and management purposes.
• Substantiate and justify expenditure and expense reports, when required.
• Monitor financial transactions and review supporting documentations.
• Communicate and coordinate client matters to the team, other Citco offices, and third parties.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and payroll company, when applicable.
• Assist in preparation of payments.
• Perform ad hoc projects and requests, as required.
