Payreto is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to architect, build, and maintain high-performance frontends with React/Next.js and scalable backends using PHP/Laravel or Node.js. You will own features end-to-end, drive architectural decisions, and mentor the team in a hybrid work setup with strong emphasis on engineering excellence.

You will lead API design, database optimization, and CI/CD practices while championing best practices and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Proficient in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong backend knowledge in MVC, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Able to navigate ambiguous requirements and reduce technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development using React/Next.js; implement scalable UI components with tokens and patterns.
• Translate UI/UX designs into accessible, fast frontend code (WCAG).
• Design and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs with PHP/Laravel or Node.js.
• Oversee database schema design, indexing, caching, and performance tuning.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and maintain architectural documentation.
