Job summary

HCLTech in Philippines is seeking senior engineers who own features end-to-end, from idea → plan → build → test → release, while collaborating with product teams.

You will design scalable systems across .NET backend and React frontend, leverage AI tools to speed delivery, and maintain high-quality code with automated tests. Emphasis on proactive dependency management and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable systems with clear API/data-flow.
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and clarifying requirements.
• Able to break work into vertical slices and plan edge cases.
• Experience with unit/integration/E2E testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with product, design, stakeholders, and other teams to understand requirements.
• Break work into vertical slices delivering real user value.
• Create implementation plans covering approach, edge cases, risks, dependencies.
• Build across .NET (backend) and React (frontend).
• Use AI tools to accelerate development.
• Write and maintain automated tests (Playwright for E2E).
• Demo early, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Identify and manage dependencies proactively to avoid rework.
