Job summary

Canon Business Process Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled software developer to advance distributed applications and middleware. You will work across IT and business teams, ensure comprehensive product documentation, and help roadmap technical upgrades.

The role requires 4+ years in enterprise development, strong C#, Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, and database experience, with a hybrid night-shift setup. Mobile development and financial services background are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of development experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
• Can work on an early Night-Shift schedule in a Hybrid Setup
• Ability to program in C# programming language
• Strong experience in Angular, HTML5, Javascript, CSS
• Mobile development experiences a plus.
• At least of 1 year of relational database experience.
• Web Services including Soap, WCF, Rest, Micro-services
• Relational Databases (Sql Server and Oracle) - development of procedures and views
• Javascript frameworks like Angular JS and Angular
• MVC and SPA applications
• Application Performance Tuning
• Unit and Regression Testing
• Full Stack Application Development
• Financial Services background a plus

Responsibilities

• Participates in special projects as required. Provide advanced technical skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancements of distributed applications and middleware.
• Initiates and participates in timely communications to all stakeholders as necessary during release and incident processes.
• Performs the technical evaluation of new applications. Attend product demonstrations and site visits to determine the technical feasibility of the product.
• Works with all areas of Information Technology and business partners to understand their impact on development projects.
• Ensures appropriate documentation on the product (functional, technical, user manual, etc.) is developed and maintained.
• Maintains a product plan (“roadmap") inclusive of functional and technical upgrades.
• Works with and through the IT application development organization, as appropriate, for development of new releases and any changes to the architecture of the product.
• Communicates team or group plans or results at all organizational levels.
• Documents root cause and/or resolution as appropriate.
