Job summary

Support Care in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines, seeks a Senior Full-Stack WordPress Developer to own end-to-end WordPress development, backend integrations, and data layer management with GTM. You’ll build high‑performance, secure code and guide data collection across marketing platforms.

You will collaborate with design, marketing, and digital teams, implement secure, scalable APIs, and connect HubSpot and other systems via REST/GraphQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development with a heavy focus on WordPress.
• Proven GTM and GA4 tracking experience for marketing campaigns.
• Strong API integrations experience (REST/GraphQL) with HubSpot.
• Server-side performance optimization and MySQL database knowledge.
• WordPress security hardening and SSL/TLS management.

Responsibilities

• Own development lifecycle from conceptualisation and theme development to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and maintain integrations that are secure, scalable, and built for performance.
• Maintain, patch, and upgrade existing WordPress instances and plugins, ensuring no downtime and high security.
• Maintain our GitHub repository as needed.
• Own the site’s data layer implementation via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Ensure consistent, accurate data collection to support growth and digital efforts.
• Architect and implement complex backend integrations connecting our website to internal CRM (HubSpot) and other third-party platforms via RESTful APIs and webhooks.
• Optimise database performance and server-side configurations to handle high-traffic loads.
• Collaborate with design/marketing on landing pages, SEO, UX, and email templates using HTML & CSS.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled, solution-oriented Senior Full-Stack WordPress Developer to serve as the technical engine behind our digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of our WordPress-powered ecosystem. Beyond core WordPress development, this role requires a deep understanding of back-end architecture, API integrations, and the ability to build seamless, high-performance web experiences. You will act as the bridge between design, marketing, and digital, ensuring our site is a highly functional platform that drives business outcomes and engages our visitors. Key Responsibilities

• Own the entire development lifecycle from conceptualisation and theme development to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Own the site’s data layer implementation via Google Tag Manager (GTM). You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining complex tracking schemas, custom event tracking, and ensuring data accuracy across all marketing platforms.
• Ensure consistent, accurate data collection to support our growth and digital efforts.
• Architect and implement complex backend integrations connecting our website to our internal CRM (HubSpot) and other third-party booking/management platforms via RESTful APIs and webhooks.
• Ensure seamless bidirectional data flow and synchronisation across our digital tech stack.
• Optimise database performance and server-side configurations to handle high-traffic loads and ensure rapid page-load speeds that meet Google’s Core Web Vitals 'Good URLs standard.
• Liaise directly with the digital team to implement landing page designs, technical SEO requirements, Content changes, UX improvements, and email template designs using HTML & CSS.
• Work closely with our team to translate UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible code.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders, translating complex technical limitations or opportunities into clear, actionable insights.
• Prioritise site security by implementing industry-standard hardening techniques, regular audits, and proactive monitoring.
• Continuously monitor site health, error logs, and performance metrics, pivoting quickly to resolve bottlenecks.

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development with a heavy focus on WordPress architecture.
• Analytics & Tracking: Proven expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4, and implementing robust tracking scripts for marketing campaigns.
• Integration Expert: Deep experience in building and managing custom API integrations (REST/GraphQL), specifically with HubSpot and similar CRMs.
• Performance Mindset: Deep understanding of server-side optimisation, caching strategies, and database management (MySQL).
