Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock seeks an experienced Software Engineering leader to drive architecture, development, and support for digital platforms across Asia. You will guide technical strategy, ensure quality, and promote DevSecOps and automation across multiple countries and channels.

Lead agile squads, mentor engineers, and collaborate with regional leaders to advance Manulife’s technology transformation in a dynamic, high-impact role with travel within Asia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in designing and developing integrated digital solutions.
• Extensive experience in building Microservices and Cloud Native Applications.
• Experience delivering projects with Agile DevSecOps methodologies.
• Expert level in cloud PaaS services (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide software engineering leadership across agile delivery squads.
• Define and promote software engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers regionally and drive architectural decisions.
• Collaborate to enable DevSecOps automation and scalable platforms.
