Verkada is seeking a Frontend Engineer (Video Streaming) to shape the web frontend experience for streaming video across millions of devices. You will own the core frontend for dashboard, playback, and device management, ensuring speedy, secure delivery and a user-friendly interface.

You will collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver high-polish experiences, drive architecture decisions, and mentor teammates while advancing performance and accessibility across the stack.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years building production web apps.
• Strong JS/TS and React skills.
• Solid web fundamentals and accessibility.
• Experience with scalable frontend architectures.
• Interest in video streaming tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend features for dashboard, video playback, and device management.
• Collaborate with designers and PMs to deliver polished UX.
• Drive architectural and performance decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers via code reviews and discussions.
• Collaborate with backend and infra teams to deliver scalable UX.
• Continuously improve UI performance and accessibility.
