Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Manila is seeking a Fraud Investigator to support the fraud operations team. The role involves reviewing cases escalated from analysts, analyzing transactions to identify anomalies, and conducting in-depth investigations using multiple data sources and tools.

You will decide case dispositions in line with policies and risk tolerances and escalate to law enforcement or specialized teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Fraud detection and investigations.
• Transaction Monitoring experience preferred.
• Familiarity with internal systems and processes at other institutions.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate fraud cases escalated from analysts.
• Analyze financial transactions and accounting activities to identify unusual or suspicious patterns.
• Conduct in-depth investigations using multiple data sources, tools and techniques.
• Make case disposition decisions per policies and risk tolerances.
• Escalate to law enforcement or specialized teams as required.
• Manage investigation queues to meet productivity targets.
• Document actions and rationale clearly per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with fraud, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in team meetings, quality reviews and training to improve performance.
• Proactively communicate production/output status and risks to leadership.
• Liaise with internal/external counterparts for end-to-end alert reviews (360 reviews) from alert to SAR filing.
