Job summary

Manulife is seeking an FP&A Institutional Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global Wealth and Asset Management & GA FP&A team in MBPS. You will deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, forecasting, and planning while partnering with stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Accounting/Finance with professional accounting credentials.
• 4+ years in finance, focusing on financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.
• Effective communicator and presenter to business partners.
• Solid technical accounting skills and reporting knowledge.
• Proactive and continuous improvements mindset.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze large volumes of financial information from stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, dashboards, and presentations for GWAM & GA FP&A Institutional.
• Produce Monthly Management Reporting (MMR), WAM MIS, Desk P&L, and forecasts for business segments.
• Develop report templates, highlight issues, and drive resolutions.
• Improve reporting processes for month-end and quarter-end cycles.
• Support annual consolidated planning with trend analysis and decks.
• Collaborate with the Canada unit and MBPS FP&A teammates on processes.
• Cross-train team and train new resources; perform quality checks.
