Job summary

Staffstream is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst in the Philippines to own the cost base across the organization and partner with a major global financial services group. You will produce monthly management reporting, review month-end costs and provide insightful commentary to decision-makers in Australia.

You will have 5+ years in accounting/finance with a CPA, strong Excel and BI tool experience, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to improve processes and support ad hoc requests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting or finance, focused on FP&A rather than tax.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and cost modelling.
• Clear communication with stakeholders, especially to Australian teams.
• Comfort with complex datasets in a matrix environment.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with an eye for the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management reporting on cost base and recoveries.
• Review month-end cost base for technology service areas and analyse variances.
• Provide clear analysis and commentary on movements and causes.
• Identify adjusting entries with Financial Control and ensure journal completeness.
• Join regular financial meetings with stakeholders to review results and forecasts.
• Directly communicate with Australia-based stakeholders as a regular duty.
• Spot opportunities to simplify and improve processes.
• Support ad hoc requests and team initiatives as needed.
