Job summary

Lancesoft APAC in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Firewall / Network Security Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on firewall implementation and deployment experience, focusing on FortiGate. The role is hybrid (1-2 days/week) in the telecommunications sector.

You will implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions, work with Palo Alto and Check Point, and leverage automation and Linux where applicable to improve security operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of firewall/network security experience.
• FortiGate Firewall mandatory, with hands-on implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Check Point.
• Strong routing & switching knowledge and implementation experience.
• Experience with Zscaler or other proxy solutions.
• Knowledge of automation/scripting and Linux is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions.
• Perform hands-on administration and deployment of FortiGate Firewall.
• Work with Palo Alto and/or Check Point firewalls.
• Implement and troubleshoot routing and switching.
• Configure and support Zscaler or other proxy technologies.
• Participate in firewall migration, upgrades, and security infrastructure projects.
• Use automation/scripting where applicable to improve operational efficiency.
