New Era Software Solutions and Technology Philippines Corp. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead a global migration from Cisco to Fortinet and Juniper.

The role supports both Manila and Cebu bases with remote work and occasional onsite requirements, aligned to EST hours. You will configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, Juniper Mist switches, and wireless APs, while collaborating with senior engineers on a high-impact migration.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years hands-on wired and wireless network engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of Juniper Mist switching, wireless solutions, and associated management tools.
• Working knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and security technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Basic experience with Cisco networking technologies (IOS/NX-OS) and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing a global migration from Cisco to Fortinet and Juniper switching infrastructure.
• Support configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Fortinet firewalls, Juniper Mist switches, and wireless access points.
• Provide administration and support for Juniper Mist wireless solutions and controllers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure seamless transitions across global sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for network issues during and after migration.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Support ongoing network optimization and performance improvements.
