Job summary

Avensys Consulting is seeking a Senior Firewall Engineer for a 12-month contract in the Philippines, with hybrid work in Manila. The role focuses on deployment, configuration, migration, and policy management for enterprise firewall solutions such as Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Check Point. Strong scripting, Linux, and ITIL familiarity are advantageous.

The position is based in Manila (Mandaluyong) with a hybrid setup (2 days remote per week) under Avensys payroll.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting enterprise firewall solutions.
• Strong deployment and implementation experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewalls.
• Experience with NAT, ACLs, HA, migrations, upgrades and production cutovers.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
