Job summary

Atlantic Grains Inc in Cebu City seeks an experienced Food Safety Compliance Officer to support the head in implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company's FSMS, ensuring compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and regulatory requirements.

You will lead food safety programs, manage nonconformances and investigations, coordinate cross-functional quality initiatives, and promote a strong food safety culture across the organization, including audits and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality and Food Safety within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Food Defense, Food Fraud, sanitation, CAPA, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in internal and external audits, customer complaint handling, supplier quality management, and food safety training.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Certifications or training in Food Safety Management Systems or related disciplines are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in compliance with FSSC 22000 and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate food safety programs, including HACCP, Food Defense, Food Fraud, Crisis Management, and other quality and food safety initiatives.
• Manage nonconformance systems, CAPA, root cause analysis, and effectiveness verification.
• Oversee sanitation and pest control programs, including contractor management, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Investigate customer complaints and supplier quality issues, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare for and participate in internal, supplier, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
• Monitor food safety performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Develop and facilitate food safety training programs while promoting a positive food safety culture.
• Support organizational development, learning initiatives, and management review activities.
• Assist the EHS team as Deputy Safety Officer in safety compliance, incident investigations, and audit support.
