Mott MacDonald is seeking a Fire Engineer with transportation and commercial building experience to deliver technical guidance in fire modelling, code reviews, and performance-based design. You will ensure life safety, architectural flexibility, and safe, cost-effective solutions while complying with international standards.

Fire Engineer primarily with transportation and commercial buildings experience should have capability delivering technical guidance for fire modelling, code guidance reviews and innovative performance–based design solutions; to improve life safety, allow greater architectural flexibility, support safety case designs, maintaining sustainable designs with cost effective resolutions. Resolving design issues which would otherwise be prohibited by regulatory code guidance or to demonstrate ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) principles have been achieved to support safety case and bespoke design options. Should have ability to apply risk assessment analysis and review holistic fire safety features in accordance with the best international practice.

Minimum Mechanical engineering degree (master’s degree in fire & safety engineering, numerical analysis-fire dynamics and thermal engineering will be preferred)
