Job summary

XP Power is seeking an efficient, flexible firmware engineer to join its Engineering Services team in Manila. You will contribute to all areas of firmware development, from prototyping new concepts to testing, debugging, and documenting features for powered devices and gateways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of related work experience.
• Experience with 8/16/32-bit MCUs and DSPs.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, RS-485, Ethernet protocols.
• Experience with embedded software lifecycle (Waterfall/Agile).

Responsibilities

• Participate in product definition and requirements analysis.
• Collaborate on firmware architecture for wired and wireless networks.
• Design, code, test, and support software for embedded processors in devices.
• Communicate design constraints to team and management.
• Perform system integration and validation testing for interoperability.
• Contribute across all project lifecycle phases from design to release.
• Support legacy products and translate customer requirements into solutions.
