Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years in network security engineering with a focus on enterprise firewall platforms.
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies and HA firewall architectures.
• Strong knowledge of routing/switching (BGP, VRF, MPLS), wireless, and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and technical lead for Firewall architecture spanning NGFW, SD-WAN, and ASA platforms.
• Mentors and develops capabilities of team members.
• Architects and implements enterprise-wide firewall solutions using Palo Alto technologies with HA configurations.
• Defines network segmentation and identity-based access strategies with Cisco ISE and 802.1x.
• Secures hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with ingress/egress controls and intra-cloud segmentation.
• Develops automation pipelines using Python, Terraform, and GitHub for firewall management and compliance reporting.
• Leads root cause analysis and remediation for firewall incidents and upgrades.
• Collaborates with Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to align firewall policies with security objectives.
