Job summary

Nike is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead Core Infrastructure Engineering focused on secure firewall design and Zero Trust initiatives. You will steer an engineering team across global environments, shaping security posture and resilient network access.

You will drive automation, security policy alignment, and cross-functional collaboration with Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Infra teams while mentoring engineers and delivering scalable firewall architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Mentors and develops the capabilities of team members.
• Architect and implement enterprise firewall solutions using Palo Alto technologies with high availability.
• Define and execute network segmentation and identity-based access with Cisco ISE and 802.1x.
• Secure hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with ingress/egress controls and intra-cloud segmentation.
• Deploy and tune advanced threat prevention features (IDS/IPS, URL/DNS filtering, SSL/TLS decryption).
• Develop automation pipelines using Python, Terraform, and GitHub for firewall rule management and compliance reporting.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation for firewall-related incidents.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to align firewall policies with security objectives.
