Job summary

WSP in Manila invites a senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead design of fire protection systems across building types, coordinating a multidisciplinary team and liaising with authorities to gain approvals.

The role requires at least 7 years of experience, strong knowledge of wet and dry systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. You will oversee project execution, develop reports, and mentor junior staff while upholding WSP QA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge in Wet and Dry System.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus.
• Experience with QA and OH&S systems.
• Experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems for various building types and classes.
• Lead Fire Protection Engineering team to implement project objectives.
• Coordinate with authorities for approvals where necessary.
• Maintain records of drawings per QA procedures.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines to meet program outputs.
• Develop high-level technical reports and review medium-size project reports.
• Lead medium-sized multi-discipline projects.
