Job summary

WSP Manila, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Design Engineer to lead the design of fire protection services for diverse building types. You will manage drawings and liaise with local and foreign partners, ensuring alignment with the design program.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, has 5+ years in a similar role, and is proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Registered Mechanical Engineer is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire protection design for buildings.
• At least 5 years in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge of Wet and Dry Fire Protection systems.
• Autocad and Revit experience is a MUST

Responsibilities

• Design the fire protection services for various building types and all related systems.
• Manage and maintain records of all drawings per QA procedures.
• Liaise with WSP personnel, partners, affiliates and clients.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team
• Control outputs according to the design work program
• Attend meetings as required
• Carry out assignments from management
• Exhibit professional behavior as a member of WSP
• Assist in training and development of subordinates
• Assist in multidisciplinary project activities
• Utilize fire protection software and 3D modelling to develop designs
• Perform other duties as required by management
