Job summary

CBRE KL BSO in Bangsar South is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Record to Report to manage end-to-end RTR activities for assigned entities, ensuring alignment with SLAs and delivering high-quality services as part of the Global Business Services organization.

The role requires 3–5 years in a shared services environment, accounting degree, IFRS/US GAAP and SOX knowledge, and strong Excel skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks across month-end close,

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / professional qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA).
• 3–5 years' experience in a relevant shared services environment.
• Capable of performing operational tasks when required.
• Computer-literate with Excel data analysis.
• Proficient in English, including oral and business writing.
• Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP and SOX control frameworks.
• Understanding of finance systems and technical integrations (D365 a plus).
• Excellent business acumen, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work independently with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and execute end-to-end month-end closing tasks including journal processing and postings.
• Ensure timely, accurate SLAs / KPI reporting with required quality.
• Perform monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations per policy.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting for the T&T division.
• Address stakeholder queries promptly and proactively.
• Collaborate with other BSO workstreams to ensure data accuracy.
• Support financial and tax audits.
• Support internal controls and processes including SOX.
• Contribute to process improvements and standardisation of RTR activities.
• Facilitate and complete any ad hoc task assigned by supervisor.

What You’ll Need

• Degreein Accounting / professional qualifications will be an added advantage (CA,CPA, ACCA)
• 3to 5 years' experience in the relevant field preferably from shared serviceenvironment
• Capableto perform operation task when required
• Computerliterate, preferably with Excel analysis data
• Proficientin English including Oral and Business Writing.
• Possessknowledge of accounting principles and International Financial ReportingStandards (IFRS) / US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP)Accounting as well control frameworks such as SOX
• Goodunderstanding of Finance systems & technical integrations (experience withD365 would be an advantage)
• Excellentbusiness acumen and strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
• Ableto work independently with problem solving skills and technical aptitude tobuild controls and identify errors
