This onsite role requires deep expertise in fund accounting structures, US GAAP, and partnership taxation, with a strong command of Excel and data analytics. The role emphasizes end-to-end financial closes, external auditor coordination, and rigorous disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA is desired but not required.

• Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Client System Implementation: Architect and establish online accounting general ledger systems in FundPanel, Salesforce, and Xero; establish automated bank transaction feeds; lead data migrations; reconcile system balances.
• Client Service Operations & Data Management: Collate and maintain client information in Salesforce; track onboarding items; manage historical data updates.
• Audit Ownership & Execution: Prepare for yearly audits; prepare month-end schedules and analyses; coordinate with team on audit findings.
• Yearly Financial Reporting: Prepare draft financial statements and cash flow; calculate fund performance metrics including Gross/Net IRR.
• Disclosures & Compliance: Prepare draft footnotes and complete disclosure checklists.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Client System Implementation: Architect and establish online accounting general ledger systems in FundPanel, Salesforce, and Xero; establish automated bank transaction feeds; lead structural legacy data migrations; and reconcile system-generated balances.

• Client Service Operations & Data Management: Collate and maintain up-to-date client information within the Salesforce database; track and control open onboarding items; and manage historical data updates.

• Audit Ownership & Execution: Direct preparation for yearly audits; prepare month-end schedules, complex analyses, and full balance reconciliations; correct errors and post proposed adjusting journal entries; coordinate directly with the team on audit findings; and answer technical audit inquiries.

• Yearly Financial Reporting: Prepare draft financial statements, balance sheets, and statements of changes in Partners' capital; calculate fund performance metrics including Gross/Net IRR and financial highlights; and draft cash flow statements.

• Disclosures & Compliance: Prepare draft financial footnotes, fulfill PBC (Prepared by Client) requests, review financial disclosures, and complete comprehensive disclosure checklists.

Qualifications:

• Target Experience: 8+ Years

• Bachelor's/College degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. CPA is desired but not required.

• Elite analytical skills and the ability to explain complex accounting concepts smoothly to internal and external stakeholders.Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.

• Proven experience executing end-to-end financial closes and managing external auditors.

• Deep technical knowledge of fund accounting structures, US GAAP, and partnership tax compliance.

• Systems utilized: Enterprise access across Google Suite, Xero, Excel, Box, Salesforce, and FundPanel.
