The Senior Financial Analyst – Canada Segment Reporting at Manulife is responsible for complex financial analyses focused on expense reporting, forecasting, budgeting, planning, and financial management. You will partner with Finance and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely insights.

Key duties include monthly reporting, forecasting cycles, planning material preparation, journal entries, and supporting management with actionable analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent designation is an asset.
• 5+ years accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in financial analysis, management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Manage Canada Segment expense reporting, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, planning, reconciliations, variance analysis, and stakeholder support.
• Support the monthly forecasting cycle by updating templates, gathering inputs, analyzing drivers, and developing forecasts.
• Prepare month-end financial analysis and commentary on variances, trends, and key metrics for management reporting.
• Support annual planning, consolidation, and development of planning materials and stakeholder presentations.
• Prepare and support journal entries and ensure proper review and approvals.
• Deliver monthly expense reports and analysis to Canada Segment stakeholders under the shared service model.
