Job summary

Manulife seeks a Financial Control Senior Analyst to lead complex accounting analyses, journal entries, and reporting. You will drive month-end close, reconciliation signoffs, and effective financial governance across global and local entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or equivalent certification is required; CMA/CFA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and reporting activities in line with corporate policies.
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations across systems.
• Review financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Provide analysis on compensation, benefits accruals, and HR-related expenses, coordinating with HR.
• Support SOX controls, internal policies, and audit readiness across the organization.
