Job summary

Satellite Office in the Philippines seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and stakeholder engagement across the brand and divisional levels. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and robust internal controls while guiding finance team activities and supporting executive reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA or equivalent, a degree in accounting or related field, and strong ERP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• This role requires professional accounting certification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Big 4 background preferred.
• Experience in financial or management reporting with month end deliverables.
• Ability to interpret accounting standards for retail industry.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial information for Management, the Board and Executive Committees.
• Process month end journals and verify entries against expectations.
• Review monthly results with internal stakeholders and drive financial performance.
• Maintain GL integrity and balance sheet controls including reconciliations.
• Contribute to budgeting, monitor costs, revenues and cash flows.
• Develop internal controls over month end processes and reporting outputs.
• Provide technical accounting advice and document commercial implications.
• Prepare statutory reporting adjustments and financial statements per standards.
• Support risk management, audits, and liaise with external auditors.
• Automate and enhance reporting processes and outputs.
• Support Group Financial Controller and Finance Manager.
