Job summary

Xerox Philippines is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant Analyst to support Canada Accounts Payable by ensuring accurate invoice processing, reconciliations, and compliance with financial controls. This role contributes to month-end close and drives continuous process improvements in AP operations.

You will work with ERP platforms including SAP and E-Automate, along with Oracle and Concur, to manage financial transactions and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, E-Automate, Oracle, Concur, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in a global or BPO/shared services environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and process Accounts Payable transactions in line with policies and controls.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and support supplier payments, resolving exceptions.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities with reporting and reconciliation.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage financial transactions and reporting.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to support decisions and improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoicing and banking concerns.
  • Participate in automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives.

Overview

The Senior Financial Accountant Analyst supports the Canada Accounts Payable function by ensuring accurate invoice processing, payment execution, account reconciliations, and compliance with financial controls and company policies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting month-end close activities, resolving payment-related issues, and driving continuous process improvements across Accounts Payable operations.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoicing, payment, and banking-related concerns.
  • Participate in automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, finance operations, banking operations, or a related function.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial transactions, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, E-Automate, Oracle, Concur, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Prior experience in a BPO, shared services, or global business services environment supporting night shift operations is an advantage.
