Job summary

SEAOIL Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Finance Operations Senior Officer - Importation to oversee importation and cargo release processes, coordinating with suppliers, government agencies, shipping lines, brokers, and banking partners to ensure timely settlement and compliant documentation.

You will handle liquidation, BIR surety bonds, DOE reporting, ERP entries, audits, and VAT compliance, building on 2–4 years in import finance roles.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in import documentation, customs clearance, or treasury.
• Experience with import documentation, customs clearance, supplier payments, and bank transactions.
• Exposure to international trade processes (import/export payments, foreign currency transactions, LC/TT) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process importations and final liquidation to ensure timely cargo release.
• Submit final liquidation documents and additional payments per cargo.
• Handle BIR surety bond requirements for annual excise tax compliance.
• Monitor imports to ensure renewal of BOC import accreditation.
• Submit monthly DOE reports.
• Encode ERP/Vend bill to accrue import costs.
• Prepare for ANL audits by BOC for importations.
• Verify VAT outputs for ATAX compliance.
• Prepare correspondence with government agencies about imports.
